MazaCAM CAD/CAM 3D enables waterline milling and machining of complex 3D surfaces while keeping the advantage of Mazatrol (as far as possible).

MazaCAM automatically detects if a machining process is not suitable for the output in a Mazatrol unit. MazaCAM automatically generates a subroutine call for a EIA-Program if a unsupported Mazatrol machining is found. The subroutine call is performed via a Mazatrol manual-process. unit. This enables the opportunity to open 3D contours, without losing the advantages of Mazatrol tool data. 3D machining operations can be posted as a complete Mazatrol manual-process unit as well.

Furthermore, MazaCAM enables Z plane waterline milling of 3D bodies’ contours.

You receive a program with correct Mazatrol unit instead of a DIN/ISO EIA, or a manual-process unit. You will receive, for example, several line-left or line-outer units. The amount of units corresponds to the specified Z-delivery. On output, MazaCAM CAD/CAM automatically creates a Mazatrol main program that contains the corresponding subroutine calls, because usually the maximum number of rows of a Mazatrol program is exceeded.
